Mallika Mittal's Fundraiser for Scleroderma United

Why I'm Fundraising: Scleroderma is rare and a dreadful disease. People around either do not recognize or do not provide their support to the patients. The pain and the helplessness builds inside leading to ultimate depression along with physical pain. We may not realize it because for us it's just a mere body struggling for a cure but for someone that mere body is their whole world.

About Scleroderma United: Scleroderma United is an international 501(c)(3) nonprofit connecting and empowering people with the rare autoimmune disease scleroderma. All 45 of Scleroderma United's Board Members are volunteers, and 100% of your donation goes toward our mission of serving the patient community. Our primary initiatives include our Scleroderma Stories publication (which has reached over 10,000 people in 78 countries) and Patient-Led Education Program. In particular, we are fundraising for our development of the first-ever online course for children with scleroderma to better understand the illness and learn how to navigate life with scleroderma.
