🐾 Meet Mama Cleo! 🐾

This sweet girl was found in front of a grocery store in Mexico by a kind Samaritan. She then made her way to Los Angeles, where another wonderful woman offered her a home. A few days ago, our amazing foster and adopter, Renée, reached out for help because it became clear that Cleo was pregnant and about to welcome her puppies into the world.

Cleo's foster mom, who is inexperienced in caring for pregnant dogs, needed assistance, so we have taken Cleo under our wing. She has already been vetted and is expected to go into labor this weekend! While we don't know who the father is, Cleo's veterinarian is very concerned about her well-being because her eight puppies are too large for her to deliver on her own. It's likely that she will need an emergency C-section, which is estimated to cost anywhere between $7,000 and $14000! 🤯

This journey will be costly, and unfortunately, our rescue is facing exhausted funds and the lowest donation influx we’ve seen. We sincerely cannot do this without your kindness and support.
