MISSION

The Maine Mariners Foundation is dedicated to strengthening social-emotional wellness in Maine communities through the power of winter sport. Through programs and partnerships, we create opportunities for communal recreation, learning experiences on and off the ice, and hockey fandom, providing accessible pathways for every generation to play, learn, and connect.

PILLARS

Play - We provide opportunities for all Mainers to skate and play, breaking down barriers to create access to communal recreation throughout the year.

Learn - We provide opportunities to engage off the ice through mentorship and education, with a focus on reducing screentime use and loneliness and connecting communities.

Connect - We build community and belonging through the power of hockey, leveraging the Maine Mariners energy and ability to bring people together at the rink and beyond.
