Chicago Mask Bloc is looking to raise $2,173 to cover the cost of shipping for three donations from BeHealthy and Planet Halo as well as a bulk order of KF94 masks and rapid antigen tests. These will be distributed for free to our community here in Chicago.

The breakdown of costs:

• $210 for BeHealthy shipping (The bloc has already received these masks.)
• $160 for BeHealthy shipping (The bloc has already received these masks.)
• $97.95 for Planet Halo shipping (The bloc has already received these masks.)
• $800 for Planet Halo masks (1,300 KF94 masks, will order when funds are raised)
• $855 for Pharmalynk Rapid Antigen Tests (100 boxes of 2 tests, iHealth brand, exp. 3/2027, will order when funds are raised)

The total shipping cost for shipping, masks, and tests from BeHealthy, Planet Halo, and Pharmalynk comes out to $2,122.95.

Lastly, we are looking to add buffer funds. This will cover any unexpected fees incurred by fundraising, and any unexpected changes to shipping fees. Buffer funds (for taxes, duties, shipping, etc.): $50.05

$2,122.95 + $50.05 incidental = $2,173 total for GiveButter campaign

Any excess funds will be redistributed to mutual aid fundraisers for those in our community.

When this fundraiser concludes and all orders have been placed, we will provide a financial transparency statement on our Instagram page @ChicagoMaskBloc.
