Located in Central Mexico, Angelitos Sanctuario is a long-time dream of an enthusiastic bunch of expatriate and Mexican animal lovers working together to create a place of peace and safety for unwanted and abused animals.

For more than four years, while based in temporary locations, we have managed to rescue hundreds of various animals in dire need.

We are building a permanent sanctuary to provide a forever home for thousands of animals, but the land we are building on is not yet ours.

Thanks to a generous supporter, we have an opportunity to match up to $25,000 in donations. So $25,000 becomes $50,000 (toward the $60,000 we need to buy the land). Importantly, these donations are entirely dedicated to buying the land and keeping the animals that live with us taken care of.

About us!

We lost our rented ranch a few months ago when the property was sold. We had to find a new home for the sanctuary. We found the perfect quiet spot, nestled in the high desert mountains in our state of Guanajuato.

Our agreement allowed us to move in and set up the basics. With your generous help, we have done that. Now, we must complete the purchase of the 3 acres of land for an investment of 60,000 USD.

We have paid $5,000 USD for the land so far. We have until the end of July to complete the purchase. If we can not make that payment...we lose it all!

As we continue our build, we have to maintain the sanctuary, care for the animals we have, and bring in new ones who need us desperately. We need funds for food, water, support staff (two local workers), and vet care.

After it's paid for, the sanctuary is OURS and YOURS, our supporters.

Once we meet this goal, it will remain a sanctuary forever, owned by a long-term 501(c)3 foundation, not an individual.
