On February 27, 2025, Matson’s Container Vessel Stevedore Supervisor, Scott Kaeo, and his ‘ohana experienced a devastating loss when their home was destroyed by a fire, displacing Scott’s family of five. Fortunately, Scott and his family were not injured, but they lost all possessions, including their vehicle.

Scott has worked as a dedicated team member at Matson for over twenty years. In response to the eagerness of his colleagues to support him during this challenging time, Matson reached out to the Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement (CNHA), who kindly agreed to establish this giving campaign, Matson Friends of the Kaeo ‘Ohana. Your generous contribution will help Scott, and his family begin to rebuild their lives after this devastating loss. We appreciate any support you can provide.
