When they couldn't find a school that worked for their autistic son, Maverick, Maegan and Josh created Maverick Learning Center in 2022.  MLC is a specialized school for children with autism serving first through twelfth grades located in Virginia Beach.  Enrollment is open for the 2026-2027 school year.
