A Little Bit About Mission Bay Puppy Rescue
Located on Beautiful Sail Bay in Mission Beach, San Diego, CA.
Nearly 30 years ago when searching for a dog for ourselves we were asked to be fosters. We took in our first little puppy family (of 10!) and while playing on the front lawn, found ourselves adopting out our little pups to good families who were just passing by.
After working with various rescue organizations and adopting out hundreds of pups over our fence we finally made the decision to become an official NonProfit 501(c)(3) rescue and Mission Bay Puppy Rescue was born.
This is now our full time job.
What We Do
Rescue orphaned puppies, pregnant mamas and their litters.
We partner with amazing rescue teams in Bakersfield CA, the San Diego Humane Society and County Animal Shelters across California as well as others to save as many pups and mamas as possible.
All pups receive age-appropriate vaccinations, microchips, are spayed or neutered, and any other medical care needed.
The pups are hand raised with love by our family and fosters.
Our pups are kept together until they are at least 8 weeks old and with their mama when possible. Our mamas receive loving care, a quiet place to raise their pack and when ready are vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and get a special grooming while we find them a forever home.
Please join us in our effort to save as many puppies and mamas as possible.
Thank You!
Love the Mission Bay Puppy Rescue Family
