UCHS MCJROTC needs YOUR support

The University City High School JROTC has been raising leaders for over a decade. The JROTC builds character, teaches discipline, and pushes students to do their best in and out of the classroom. Delivering a high-quality experience doesn't just happen though. It takes hard work and dedication from the instructors, parents, family, friends and the community.

While JROTC is a state-sponsored program, very little money is received from the state. Most of the capital required to fund the program needs to be raised by the program. JROTC requires a considerable amount of money to ensure the safety and an equal opportunity for all students.

This is where you come in! Countless hours are put in by the instructors, parents, and other volunteers to help build our students. Your donation will help contribute to the team and allow the students to keep achieving!

Here is a quick look at the MCJROTC budget:

Field Trips - $4,000
Laundry Uniforms - $1,000
Competitions - $4,000
End-of-Year Awards & Cookout - $1,000

The district contributes about $1,500 towards these expenses leaving $10,000 to be raised by the program.

We appreciate any donation amount.

Rest assured, all Cadets will receive the same opportunities, experiences, and equipment regardless of contribution. However, the program will postpone upgrades and cut back on extras that make the experience special for our Cadets if we don't meet our goal.

UCHS MCJROTC Booster Club falls under the “The Centurion Foundation”, a nonprofit organization 501(c)(3). Donation acknowledgement letters issued for donations of $250+. Online receipts for amounts less than $250 are sufficient for IRS documentation purposes.
