MDE School is a not-for-profit special needs school. The school helps children with special needs who cannot be successfully served in a traditional educational setting. MDE School helps children with language-based learning disabilities reach their full potential by providing individualized education, enrichment, and life skills training in a nurturing environment. 

MDE School serves K-12 students with varying disabilities including, Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, communication disorders, and learning differences.

MDE School was founded in 2009 by Mindy Elkan, who currently serves as the Executive Director.
