Step Back in Time at the Legendary Mendenhall Museum

Join us for a special evening at the Mendenhall Museum, home to one of the West Coast’s largest collections of petroliana and Americana treasures.

Nestled in the Santa Ynez Valley, this private collection has been lovingly curated for over fifty years. Started by the late Jack Mendenhall, the museum showcases vintage gasoline pumps, glowing globes, porcelain signs, license plates, racing memorabilia, and rare antiques. Today, Jack’s son Mark and his wife Vickie carry on the tradition, adding to and preserving this remarkable legacy.

About the Mendenhall Legacy

Jack Mendenhall, known as the “original American Picker,” began collecting while running his Richfield Service Station in the 1950s. His passion for automobiles and memorabilia grew into the extraordinary collection displayed today on the original site of his wrecking yard. Jack’s love of racing lives on through the museum’s ties to land speed records and the Hall of Fame.
