The merger between atac and DHG is not just a union of two organizations but a promise of a brighter future for our community. It's a step towards a more vibrant, more inclusive, and creative downtown Framingham. atac has been working to become a better resource for youth and community development through the arts. After years of rapid growth and accomplishments, DHG has maxed out its organizational capacity. Combining our resources, building on the best parts of each organization, and continuing our mutual mission to create access and opportunities in our community preserves the valuable and integrated resource atac has become, creates a springboard for the growth DHG is poised for, and strengthens our organizations’ mutual impact in our community. I’m grateful to share that crucial supporters agree! The Sudbury Foundation has awarded atac a $20,000 grant for post-merger strategic planning and operating support for Discovering Hidden Gems, which will continue post-merger.
