The Spring Festival at University School transformed global learning into a hands‑on celebration, filled with lively performances, shared meals, and cultural discovery. TU students, educators, and community leaders joined in the festivities, highlighting Tulsa’s Sister City connections and inspiring younger students to see themselves as active participants in our global community.

🎬 "Amélie" Continues Our Sister City Film Series
Tulsa Global Alliance and Alliance Française de Tulsa invite you to an afternoon of Amélie & Amiens at Circle Cinema! Presented in celebration of Tulsa’s Sister City in France, Amiens, see this beloved French film back on the big screen while learning about our Sister City and other Francophile events in Tulsa. The film will begin at 2pm, and come early for extras in the lobby starting at 1pm! The cash bar will be open to enjoy a glass of wine while seeing a Tulsa Global Alliance display on Amiens, France and chatting with Alliance Française de Tulsa about more great French events in town.

🏃 Route 66 and Russia: Reconnecting Runners Through Sports Diplomacy
See how the Route 66 Marathon inspired an international running tradition. After visiting Tulsa in 2019, Zelenograd journalist Pavel Chukaev helped spark a cross‑continental connection that continues today. Featuring new footage from the 2025 race, interviews with Dima and Lena Antonov, and greetings from Tulsa partners, this video celebrates friendship, sports diplomacy, and a marathon tradition shared 5,500 miles apart.
