Hello Ben & Joey,
For those in the northern hemisphere, we trust you are enjoying summer! It always proves to be a busy season for Apologetics On Mission, as we're planning the next mission trips, the next term of ITIA (our apologetics course), and preparing for the end-of-the- year. Here are some recent highlights of AoM's "goings on":
Behind the Scenes Planning
AoM held our Q2 Board of Directors meeting earlier this month, approving our Board Policy Manual and paving the way to strategically grow our BoD. This may not be the most exciting news, but having a strong and committed board is vital to Apologetics On Mission. Please pray for our recruiting process to add critical leaders to AoM's board over the next year.

Equally important, our leadership team will spend three days huddling for AoM's annual Strategic Planning Meeting at the beginning of August. We adopt a 1-year/3-year model for this critical planning, where the 1-year focus is very tactical with shorter term actions, and the 3-year focus is aspirational reflecting back to what we need to do to achieve these aspirations. Please pray for wisdom and discernment as AoM's leaders seek the Holy Spirit's guidance in making these plans, and may we lay them at the feet of Jesus knowing that ultimately it is HIs plan we are following!
A milestone new book
It is a joy to report on the rapid growth of apologetics beyond the West, making the work of Apologetics On Mission so important at such a time as this. In Africa, evidence of this growth is clear with the recent launch of an important new book, "Apologetics In Africa." Edited by our good friend and partner Dr. Kevin Muriithi, this collection of chapters by primarily African authors gives great insight to the contextualization of important apologetics topics for the African continent.

I (Ben) had the privilege of participating in a book launch panel for Apologetics In Africa, and am currently creating a chapter-by-chapter series of short review/commentary videos where I spend a few minutes summarizing each chapter and giving my insights. Ben's Insights on Apologetics In Africa
Over 35 new ITIA Graduates!
The latest term of AoM's Introduction to International Apologetics certificate course wrapped up in July. This has been our largest class to date, and we expect over 35 students to receive their certificates! During our next mission trip, we'll be hosting several graduation celebrations where we get to personally award our graduates with their certificates.

Watch the goofy practice video!
These represent a great milestone, but more importantly the opportunity for us to ask, "Ok, what's next?!?" to these emerging leaders. And as we've reported often, it's amazing to see so many of these budding apologists deploy what they've learned in a variety of ministries.
Join AoM's Giving Team
As we plan AoM's mission trips, we can only do what the ministry can afford to do. Please consider joining our team of AoM donors and help expand the regions, people, communities, and partners AoM can serve! Setting up a recurring monthly donation is super helpful for us in planning, and a great way for you to be part of what the Lord is doing in raising Christian defenders globally! Thank you!
