Thanks to a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities, we are standing up a Trenton-proud Visitor Zone this summer, to be managed by our new, part-time Heritage Program Manager.

Voluntary Summer Internships at 120 East State
120 East State looks forward to welcoming one or more voluntary interns in the summer of '26.
What is a voluntary internship? A voluntary internship is an occupational experience designed to complement formal academic training and/or provide a meaningful resume-building experience. Although these internships are unpaid, they can be completed for academic credit or internship requirements required by an educational institution.
This is a hands-on, generalist role, well-suited to students interested in nonprofit management, public history, community development, communications, or arts administration.
This internship will provide experience across one or more focus areas: Nonprofit Operations & Administration, Development & Retail Fundraising, and Communications & Historic Programming Support.
