As fires continue to burn across the Southern California region, our hearts are with everyone affected, including our neighbors and local organizations. The recent wildfire at Eaton Canyon has deeply impacted the Tongva Taraxat Paxaavxa Conservancy. While some parts of the land were spared, others, including structures and natural spaces, sustained significant damage.
The resilience of the land—a testament to the application of Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK)—gives us hope as we begin to assess the extent of the damage and plan for recovery. We remain committed to supporting both our community and our neighbors during this challenging time.
