Monster Mash: The Biggest Party of the Year! 🎃
Mark your calendars! Monster Mash, Shuang Wen's biggest event of the year, is happening on Friday, October 18th, from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM in the school yard. Get ready for an evening full of spooky fun, games, and great food!

School Photo Day – November 7-8 (Thursday & Friday) 📸
We need volunteers to help with School Photo Day! There are five 60-90 minute shifts available each day from 8:15 AM - 2:40 PM. Parents are welcome to sign up for multiple shifts.

Back to School Potluck: A Huge Success
A big thank you to everyone who attended the Back to School Potluck! It was a huge success and such a joy to bring so many families together to celebrate the start of the school year.

We are excited to announce that we now have a Parents’ WhatsApp Community with over 300 members! This space allows parents to share information and stay connected with each other. If you haven’t already joined, you can sign up by filling out the form.
Recess Coaching Sponsored by the PA 🏀
The Parent’s Association, in partnership with the school, is sponsoring Recess Coaching! Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, two coaches will be onsite to work with our K-4th grade students, providing structured and fun activities during recess. This program will ensure that our kids can have a great time while also learning important social skills, teamwork, and how to interact positively with their peers.
High School Applications Process Night
Led by experienced parent Ee Tay, this session will provide guidance on how to approach the high school admissions process, tips on applications, and insights from families who have successfully navigated it. Open to all middle school and interested parents. The session will be held via Zoom on October 21st at 7pm. RSVP HERE

Volunteer Shout-outs!
The PA would like to give a huge thank you to all the incredible parent volunteers who helped to make our back-to-school season a success. Thank you to: Lori Fields for redesigning the PA's main bulletin board; Kaia Kang and Jess Stowe for their beautiful Mid-Autumn Festival decorations; Jonathon Lum and Naveen Sambu for helping us to collate and staple over 700 packets; Helen Wong-Lum, Sharon MacArthur, Stephen MacArthur and Ada Robinson for helping us get the WhatsApp community off the ground; Yenny Eng and Kevin Eng for helping us engrave 150 pencils with the PA URL; Amy Holson-Schwartz for baking delicious cookies for us to give out at morning drop-off; Hayley Friedman for helping us draft our newsletters; and Domhnall O'Donnchadha for designing an absolutely mindblowing PA banner that we look forward to unveiling soon.

家長會與學校合作贊助課間活動！每個星期一、星期三和星期五，課間休息期間，兩位教練將在學校提供 K-4 年級學生一些有組織且有趣的活動。課間活動將確保我們的孩子能夠度過愉快的時光，同時學習重要的社交技能、團隊合作以及如何與同齡人積極互動。
高中申請流程之夜
