On Tuesday mornings, our HAPC team and volunteers gather at 8AM to pray together at the pregnancy clinic. Specifically, we pray for God to "bring us one more." Bring at least one girl away from the abortion clinic that we may have the opportunity to talk with her.
To share the hope of Jesus with her. To talk about why she's considering abortion. To speak Life into her to situation.
We pray on Tuesday mornings for the "pro-choice" escorts in orange vests. We pray for opportunities to share the Light of Christ with the escorts.
We pray for our own team and volunteers, that we may be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry (James 1:19).
While we want to encourage you with stories of clients who choose life because of an interaction with us at HAPC, we also invite your prayers and understanding for the other facets of our ministry.
Even if God does not bring us "one more" on an abortion day, He is still worthy to be praised.
Even if He does not by His Spirit convict the abortion clinic volunteers, nurses or doctor, He is still worthy to be praised.
Even if He does not convict every abortion-minded woman to choose life instead of death for her baby, He is still worthy to be praised.
This is not to say we don't have those circumstantial reasons to praise God, when a teenage girl with an unplanned pregnancy is adamant to keep her baby (thank you, Lord!). We just want to pass along the encouragement that the "why" of our ministry at HAPC is because He is Lord, we can serve.
THANK YOU FOR SERVING ALONGSIDE US. We cannot serve these women and girls without faithful supporters like you!
