🌹🌷🌼 As the days grew longer, so did our list of reasons to be proud —
March kept us busy and our community rose to every moment.🌹🌷🌼
March was jam-packed and we are so heartened by the support we received from parents to make it all happen for our students and school community!
Thank you to everyone—local businesses, our parent community, our beloved teachers and staff—for showing up for our 9th annual silent auction. Together, we raised over $22,500 for educational and enrichment activities for all students—like the thrilling lion dance performances by Bo Law Kung Fu that the whole school enjoyed on February 27.
After postponing our Chinese Book Fair due to the epic January snowstorm, we appreciated everyone’s patience and teamwork in getting it back up for March. The proceeds went toward fulfilling teachers’ wishlists, providing all classes with high-quality Chinese books.
The creativity and passion of our school community was on full display at Chinese Games Night. Months of preparation by our dedicated parents and CLA teachers really paid off, and attendees told us they hope it becomes an annual tradition. We especially appreciate our reliable and enthusiastic middle school volunteers for inspiring and supporting the younger students!
Additional shout-outs to our Pre-K parents for leading a delicious bake sale on parent-teacher conference day; and to community partner Paris Baguette on Grand Street for providing delectable pastries at our Lunar New Year family gala.
Lastly, nominations for next year’s parent leadership roles are open. If you’d like to make an impact on our community by joining the PA Executive Board or the SLT, read on! It’s all about working together and helping each other—so our kids can reap the benefits.

WhatsApp Community Guidelines: The PA voted on updated guidelines for our WhatsApp community. Read the guidelines here.
Library Reactivation: We shared results from the recent library reactivation survey.
Kweller SHSAT Prep: Registration is open now through May 2 for 7th graders wishing to prepare for the SHSAT with Kweller Prep. This partnership with one of the city’s top test-prep companies is fully funded by the Parent Association. Questions? Email [email protected].
Bylaws Changes: The Bylaws Review Committee presented proposed changes to the bylaws, which will be voted on at the April meeting. More details will be shared with the full community shortly.
Parent Leadership Elections: Nominations for PA Executive Board and SLT Parent Representatives (3 seats) are open until the end of the next PA meeting on April 22. The in-person election will be on May 20.

雙文家長會三月電子報
🌹🌷🌼 隨著白天漸長，我們引以為傲的理由也越來越多——三月行程滿檔，而我們的社群在每一刻都展現了凝聚力與行動力。🌹🌷🌼
三月活動密集，我們深受家長們的支持所感動，讓這一切得以順利為學生與學校社群實現！
感謝所有人的付出——在地商家、家長社群，以及我們敬愛的教師與教職員——共同成就了第九屆年度靜態拍賣活動。我們合計募得超過 $22,500，用於全體學生的教育與延伸學習活動，例如 2 月 27 日全校師生共同欣賞的 Bo Law 功夫舞獅精彩演出。
由於一月的暴風雪影響，我們延後舉辦中文書展，也特別感謝大家的耐心與合作，使書展能在三月順利重新啟動。本次收益用於實現教師心願清單，為所有班級提供優質中文書籍。
在中文遊戲之夜中，我們社群的創意與熱情展露無遺。家長與 CLA 教師數月來的籌備成果斐然，參與者紛紛表示希望這能成為年度傳統。我們也特別感謝中學部志工同學一如既往的投入與熱情，為低年級學生提供榜樣與支持！
同時也特別感謝幼兒班（Pre-K）家長在家長教師會議日主導了美味的烘焙義賣；以及社區夥伴位於 Grand Street 的 Paris Baguette，在農曆新年家庭晚會中提供精緻可口的糕點。
