High School Math Competition

Managed by OLA

Desafiando el Riesgo is a new competition by the Organization of Latino Actuaries (OLA)! Latino high school students in the U.S. with an interest in STEM are invited to get a deeper look at risk management, hone their problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, and get connected to OLA’s career development resources and network.

During the two-week virtual competition, students will investigate a real-world scenario and formulate your own data-driven solutions to problems facing the Latino community. Students will then submit case responses for a chance to win up to $3,000 in scholarship awards and recognition!

Share this opportunity with your network and encourage all Latino high school students to participate!
