It's almost time for PrideFest 2025! This year, the parade and festival have been combined to create one big fun day of pride. As you prepare for the festivities, here are a few things to know before you go:
- Protect yourself from the heat! Wear sunscreen and take breaks from the sun by patronizing downtown businesses.
- Stay hydrated! ACC's Water Monster will be on site, so bring your water bottle and help us keep this a Zero Waste event.
- In case of emergencies, the Department of Public Health will have a medical tent located next to APQC's large tent at the festival.
- While pets are allowed, we encourage protecting them from the harsh summer heat by leaving them at home for this event. If you see an animal with a service vest, please do not approach, pet, or allow your pets to interact with service animals for the safety of their person.
- Accessibility will be noted on the event map, and a Quiet Corner tent will be located near the Kid's Zone for sensory needs. The full accessibility guide is available on our website or can be found here.
- The Kids Zone will be open from 3:00-8:00 with plenty of fun bouncy houses, face painting, and more! All performances during this time will be family-friendly!
- The ACC Festival Zone will be in effect for this event, and wristbands can be purchased for $5 at restaurants and bars in the area. Those wearing a wristband will be permitted to carry beer and wine throughout the festival zone.
- Post the attached graphic on your social media and tag Athens Pride & Queer Collective to let your friends and community know to meet you at PrideFest!
