You won't want to miss our next AoMTalk tomorrow, Saturday, August 17 at 9am PT via Zoom.  AoM's own board member Dr. Stan Wallace will draw from his newly released book, "Have We Lost Our Minds?  Neuroscience, Neurotheology, the Soul, and Human Flourishing."  Stan brings clarity to the nature of our minds, our brains, our souls, and how knowing what we are is vital to how we flourish.  The topic is so relevant in this age of Artificial Intelligence, where the notion of mechanical minds raises foundational questions of our humanity.

Getting ready for Africa Fall 2024

Our team leaves for Africa in just over a week. We'll be visiting new partners in South Africa, spending a week in Uganda crafting the next big phase of Apologetics Uganda, and then a final week in Kenya participating in an apologetics symposium with our guests from Reasons to Believe Africa, David and Liz Block.  It will be a crazy schedule, reflected on one of many planning scribbles below:

Stand To Reason has really impacted my life and I'm sure the same is true for many of you readers.  Greg and his team are a blessing to the apologetics community. Pray that we find ways to collaborate with STR in raising Christian defenders around the globe, especially through STR's "Outposts" program.

Gearing up for Brazil

Doug Anson, our academic director and military outreach director, has been working tirelessly on putting together AoM's October mission to Sao Paulo, Brazil.  There, we will host what is shaping up to be an amazing Leaders' Summit, and we're grateful for the leaders who will be attending.  Pray that this results in some exciting "next steps" for growing apologetics in Brazil.  

Thanks to Doug's military background, AoM continues to reach into the global Christian military officer's community, and we will be giving four apologetics presentations to attendees of a once-every-10-years conference called WorldCon, which you can check out here.  

Pray for how AoM can continue to serve this unique "region" of Christian military officers from over 150 nations!
