🐉 LION DANCE PERFORMANCE – FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 7 🐉
To continue our Lunar New Year celebrations the PA is excited to sponsor a lion dance performance by Bo Law Kung Fu at school this Friday! All students will get to experience this wonderful traditional cultural experience up-close.

🔹 Spring Bake Sale – Thursday, March 20 (before & after school)

📢 EXECUTIVE BOARD ELECTIONS – MAY 21 📢
Elections for the Parent Association Executive Board are coming up!
This year’s election process will be managed by the Election Committee, chaired again by Amy Holson-Schwartz. We’re looking for volunteers to help recruit new board members and coordinate election paperwork. It’s a low-time commitment, and we encourage participation from parents of both younger and older students.

🎓 MINI GRANTS – $5,000 IN NEW FUNDING AVAILABLE!
The Parent Association’s Mini Grants Program is continuing this term and teachers can apply for new funding, with $5,000 available to support classroom enrichment, supplies, and field trips.
💡 Parents: If you think your child’s class could benefit, encourage their teacher to apply!

FREE PRIVATE SHSAT PREP PAID FOR BY THE PA
The PA has partnered with Kweller Prep to help current 7th graders pay for the specialized high school exam. Classes are offered via Zoom online with live interactive instruction on Saturdays from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm, from May 3 - June 21 (except Memorial Day weekend). Shuang Wen School students who sign up will receive printed sample exams and course materials.
This is a private course generously funded by the PA for Shuang Wen 7th grade students only and not related to any of the school's courses or public school programs.

We rang in the Year of the Snake with an amazing Lunar New Year celebration and a hugely successful Silent Auction, raising a total of $24,000 for our students!

🐉 舞獅表演 – 2月7日星期五 🐉
為了繼續我們的農曆新年慶祝活動，家長會很高興贊助 Bo Law Kung Fu 帶來的舞獅表演，將於本週五在學校舉行！所有學生都將有機會近距離體驗這個精彩的傳統文化活動。

🔹 家長會例會 – 2月26日（星期三），上午8:45-9:45，圖書館舉行（提供普通話翻譯）
🔹 春季烘焙義賣 – 3月20日（星期四）
➡ 家長會，當天學生將於上午11:30提前放學。
