π¬19125 Post Office Update
Recently, our community learned that the 19125 Post Office building was up for sale and immediately reached out to Congressman Boyleβs office for help.
Congressman Boyle announced he is introducing legislation that would require the United States Postal Service to keep communities informed when a lease is ending or a branch is relocating. He also shared that he will be working directly with USPS to push for clarity on the situation affecting our neighborhood.
At the event, he recognized the advocacy of the Fishtown Neighbors Association and the many neighbors who reached out with concerns.
We thank Congressman Brendan Boyle, Councilmember Mark Squilla, and Representative Mary Isaacson for their support on this issue.
We will continue to follow this closely and share updates as we have them.
