2026 marks the 50th Anniversary of Tulsa Global Alliance, the 100th Anniversary of Route 66, and the 250th Anniversary of the U.S.A, so there's a lot to cover in the coming weeks and months. Let's get started...!
🎬 "Spirited Away" Continues Our Sister City Film Series
Join TGA, Circle Cinema, and the Tulsa Japanese Friendship Club for a special 25th anniversary screening of “Spirited Away,” the classic Japanese animation film from Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli! "Spirited Away" became the first hand-drawn, non-English-language animated film to win the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature at the 75th Academy Awards.
Come early to learn more about Utsunomiya, make special Studio Ghibli-themed origami with the Tulsa Japanese Friendship Club, and learn more about the history of the film with a special introduction to the screening from Tulsa Global Alliance and Circle Cinema. The film will be presented in Japanese audio with English subtitles.

Tulsa Asia Fest 2026 is a landmark celebration of Tulsa's Asian communities, uniting thousands for a day of vibrant performances, food, art, and cultural connection in downtown Tulsa.
Tulsa Global Alliance will be showcasing our Asian Sister Cities, so be sure to visit our booth, learn about ways to get involved, and grab some global swag!
