In Memory of Toshiro "Tosh" Carrington

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Toshiro "Tosh" Carrington, a retired Navy SEAL and a cherished member of the Cross The Divide community. Tosh passed away unexpectedly on March 6th due to complications from his cancer treatment.

In 2023, Tosh, his wife Erika, and their son Asher joined us for the Ty Woods Annual Memorial Elk Hunt in eastern Oregon. It was a memorable week—one filled with challenges, deep conversations, prayers, and fellowship. For Tosh and Asher, it was an unforgettable father-son experience that was awesome to behold.

As we grieve alongside Erika, Asher, other friends/family and the SEAL community, we take comfort in the words that Ty’s father, Charles Woods, shared with us that week in September 2023:

"Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered." — Matthew 10:29-30

Rest in peace, Tosh. You will not be forgotten!

Our Blacktail Seminar, led by The Blacktail Coach and Buckventures ProStaffer Dave Riley, delivered more than just tactics. It was a deep dive into the mindset, skill, and stewardship it takes to pursue a true trophy buck. And Dave? He brought the heat—humble, skilled, and absolutely dialed in.
Big gratitude to everyone who showed up ready to learn, connect, and share in the passion. This is what Cross the Divide is all about—building each other up through the outdoors.
