Who We Are

Menomonee Falls Library Friends are library enthusiasts who help support the mission of Menomonee Falls Public Library—To enrich our community by providing a welcoming and dynamic environment where all can explore, learn, grow, and connect. The Friends are a 501(c) 3 organization that is independently governed apart from the Library and the Library Board.

What We Do

• Raise funds to support key Library efforts which fall outside of the Library’s budget capacity
• Promote Library programs, resources, and services
• Sponsor Library programs and events
• Encourage gifts, endowments, bequests, and memorials from individuals and groups
• Volunteer at the Library for Friends events

How We Help

• Sponsor programs & speakers for all ages
• Purchase Library’s wish list items
• Sponsor 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program
• Partner with community groups
• Improve Library spaces for all
• Little Free Libraries located in Downtown Menomonee Falls on the corner of Main Street and Appleton Avenue and at the Falls Area Food Pantry. For more information about our Little Free Libraries, visit their website here.
• Early Literacy Area activities
• Awards for Youth Art Shows
• Refreshments for Library programs

Menomonee Falls Library Friends is a 501(c)(3) organization. All memberships and donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

If you join the Friends or renew your membership after October 1, your membership will include the current calendar year plus the next. If you join the Friends or renew your membership before October 1, your membership will include the current calendar year only and you will be asked to renew your membership the following year.
