Mental health is something that touches us all, but for too many in the BIPOC community,
getting the help, they need can be difficult. The reasons for this are many—historical
injustices, economic barriers, and a deep-seated stigma that often prevents people from
seeking care.

These challenges have led to higher rates of untreated mental health issues,
which in turn can impact every aspect of a person’s life, from their job to their
relationships and overall well-being.

At Mental Health First Connects, we believe that everyone deserves access to quality
mental health care, no matter their background or where they live. But to make this a
reality, we need the support of compassionate leaders like you.

To address these challenges, Mental Health First Connects is launching the “Road to 2K”
campaign, with a goal of rallying 2,000 donors to raise one-hundred thousand dollars
($100K).

These funds will support initiatives that will assist Mental Health First Connects:
Serve as the connector and bridge to resources for mental health and wellness,
ensuring that BIPOC communities have the tools and support they need.

Build recognition and trust within the community, establishing Mental Health First
Connects as a trusted messenger for mental health resources.

Create a positive impact by encouraging wellness-seeking behaviors and fostering a
culture where seeking help is embraced and supported.
