East and West Wing Resident Laundry Rooms

At Moab House, we are dedicated to empowering former foster youth by providing them with the tools they need to succeed in independent living. One essential yet often overlooked area is access to a reliable, functional laundry room.

We are raising funds to renovate the laundry room in both the East and West Resident Wings, creating a space where our residents can develop life skills, maintain personal hygiene, and build responsibility.

Why This Matters

For our young adults, learning how to care for their personal laundry is an important step toward independence. However, without access to a safe and functional laundry space, they are deprived of the opportunity to practice this important life skill. Currently, one laundry room is shared by all residents, including the house family. Under the new plan, 4 Moab House Young Adults (MYAs) would share one laundry room, making it even more crucial to ensure that these spaces are efficient, organized, and accessible for all.
