At Moab House, we empower former foster youth (ages 18-21) to transition into independent adulthood with essential life skills. One of the most critical lessons we teach is responsible resource management, starting with something as simple—but vital—as food.
Right now, we need your help to install a Controlled Pantry System that will:
โ
Promote responsible food consumption
โ
Ensure fair and proportionate distribution
โ
Teach self-discipline in managing shared resources
Why This Matters
Many of our young adults come from unstable environments where food insecurity was a daily struggle. Without guidance, they may either overconsume out of fear or struggle with portion control, leading to unnecessary shortages. A locking food pantry system will provide structure while allowing them to develop responsible habits in a real-world setting.
How Your Donation Helps
Your generous support will fund:
๐น A secure pantry system with controlled access
๐น Educational resources on meal planning and budgeting
๐น Fair food distribution practices to ensure everyone has what they need
Make a Difference Today
By donating to this campaign, you’re not just funding a pantry—you’re empowering young adults to build skills for a lifetime of independence. Every dollar brings us closer to a sustainable system that fosters accountability, fairness, and confidence in managing essential resources.
