Story

Local news needs your support.

Manchester Ink Link has been covering this community for the past seven years. Our content is free for all and available 24/7 at manchesterinklink.com. Thousands of readers come to our site daily looking for news, information, events and ways to connect with their community.

COVID-19 continues to affect the local economy. Many of the businesses we’ve relied on for advertising support are struggling to bounce back, if they have even survived. After all we have been through, we believe it’s time to focus-in on the people-driven good and positive stuff.

We’ve established the Ink Link Manchester Rising Reporting Fund, via Local Media Foundation, which will allow us to bring you more of the content you want that goes beyond the breaking news and headlines.

As we are defining it, social justice is the view that everyone deserves equal economic, political and social rights and opportunities in our city. With that in mind, we’re asking for your help in guiding this year-long reporting series. Click this link to fill out a simple Google Form with your ideas and feedback for what Manchester Rising means to you as a reader. We are looking for story ideas that feature the people, organizations and entities elevating and engaging our community with a focus on social justice.

All contributions to this fund will pay for news resources to look at our city through a social justice lens — from housing and homelessness, to jobs, transportation and community life.

All donations are tax deductible.

If you believe local, trusted information is critical to building community, please donate to Manchester Ink Link’s Manchester Rising Reporting Fund.
