My daughter, Kiana Samuel, was born with hydrocephalus, which lead to her developing cerebral palsy and a number of other health complication. Due to her medical fragility, she attended Pediatric Prescribed Extended Care at Broward Children's Center for a number of years. The services provided by Broward Children's Center were instrumental in her development and her overall well being. The staff was always nurturing and supportive to Kiana and our family as we navigated to road of caring for a child with special needs. In October of 2016, Kiana passed away due complications from her medical diagnoses. In her memory, we are raising funds for children like her to continue to receive the same amazing care and compassion she received from Broward Children's Center.
