What is March Milk Madness?

The Olmsted County American Dairy Association, a local board comprised of dairy farmers and promoters, is partnering with local community organizations to raise funds for Channel One Regional Food Bank to specifically increase the availability of fresh, nutrient rich dairy products for our community. The money raised through this fundraiser will only be used to purchase dairy products to be distributed by Channel One. Olmsted County ADA has pledged a match of up to $6,000 for this fundraiser. Who is Channel One Regional Food Bank?

Channel One is a member of Feeding America, a national network of 200 food banks from across the country providing food assistance. This allows us access to millions of pounds of surplus food and grocery donations that we safely and efficiently collect, store, and distribute to those in need.

At Channel One Regional Food Bank, the mission is to strengthen food access and build healthy communities with a vision that every community in its region is food secure. Channel One serves working families and individuals, seniors, and people in times of crisis due to job loss, medical problems, or personal disaster who are experiencing hunger across 14 counties in southeastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
