National Underwear Day was created to celebrate underwear and the freedom of self-expression that comes with wearing it. Cocotree Kids uses it as a day to celebrate and be grateful for underwear--but also to bring awareness to underwear insecurity.

Let's help Cocotree Kids reach their goal of $10,000 to celebrate National Underwear Day on August 5! For every gift you make, Mimecast will triple match your donation, ex. if you donate $100, Mimecast will donate $200 for a total of $300.

Our internal goal of $1,500 will provide 3,000 pairs of underwear to 428 local kids (each receiving 7 pairs).

Cocotree Kids is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a mission to provide new underwear to underserved youth in Massachusetts for their dignity and security. A shocking 1 in 3 kids in the state experiences clothing insecurity, and underwear insecurity is even higher because underwear needs to be new for legal and hygienic reasons. It is one of the most needed but least donated items--which is where they come in.

In just 4 years, Cocotree Kids has provided over 396,000 pairs of underwear to over 56,500 kids across Massachusetts! They expect to reach 500,000 pairs by early 2026. You can read more about their impact and the kids they serve in their 2024 Impact Report.
