Honor Flight of the Cape Fear Area (HFCFA) honors WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam War era Veterans by taking them all-expenses-paid to Washington, DC for a day of remembrance and honor as they visit the memorials and monuments built in their honor. Additionally, they work to educate the public on the service provided by these men and women and give them an opportunity to express their gratitude. REV will send 4 Guardians on the 2026 Honor Flight to accompany Veterans.
Canines for Service is North Carolina’s longest-running, ADI-accredited service dog provider. Since 1996, they have been devoted to one mission: restoring confidence, independence, and connection for Veterans with service-connected disabilities across the United States. Each service dog is custom-trained for one Veteran’s needs—whether post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), military sexual trauma (MST), traumatic brain injury (TMI), or mobility limitations. Provided at no cost to Veterans, their dogs are lifelong partners in healing, trust, and hope.
