Mary is a retired physician assistant with a passion for serving underserved communities through medical missions. Since leaving full-time clinical work, she has spent the past three years combining her love for medicine and travel by joining medical missions in Africa, Central Asia, and South America—including five previous trips to Africa.

A member of the Swarthmore Rotary Club, Mary first connected with Pamoza at the club’s annual Charity Fun Fair. Moved by its Christ-centered mission, she felt called to join this year’s trip: “I feel it's my Christian duty—and my Christian joy—to support people who have the greatest need.”
