We have a goal of raising $25,000 by our anniversary (June 19th, 2021). With your support we raised $25,000 when we first launched on Juneteenth 2020 and we need your help doing it again! 
**Donate at least $15 between June 1st and June 18th to receive a ticket to our Zoom party!**
In our first year we:
1. Hosted 10 women of color at our 2 weekend shark research workshops aboard the R/V Garvin
2. Provided fellowships for 5 women of color to participate in internships in Bimini and South Africa
3. Provided monthly professional development and networking webinars for our 250+ members in 18 different countries
4. Launched our outreach program, Gill Guardians, to educate kids K-12 and adults on shark conservation topics
5. Used our collective voices to shed light on important diversity, equity and inclusion issues in marine science

This year we want to do all those thing again AND:
1. Host two more shark research workshops
2. Provide fellowships for two more women of color to participate in internships
3. Host a summer camp
4. Give out two mentorship awards
