Imagine overcoming incredible hardships and building a new life from the ground up — that’s exactly what this determined young woman is doing. After surviving trafficking, she’s now working hard to create a brighter future for herself.

She’s a sophomore at North Carolina A&T, pursuing her nursing degree while balancing full-time work to cover her living expenses. Despite her busy schedule, she’s deeply committed to her education and leadership growth. She’s an active member of the Delta Alpha Pi International Honor Society, serves as Treasurer for the Executive Board for the 2025-2026 school year, and is preparing to be inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success.

In addition to her studies, she’s involved in the National Student Nursing Association and is a proud member of the Survivor Network of North Carolina, where she uses her experiences to encourage and support other survivors.

She’s come so far — living independently, thriving in her education, and giving back to her community. But her biggest challenge right now is transportation. Without a reliable vehicle, she struggles to juggle work, school, and her leadership responsibilities.
