The Project

With the guidance of Bob Yapp, one of the nation’s leading experts in historic preservation, a team of dedicated volunteers will carefully restore the wood floors in The Auditorium’s basement. Rather than aggressively sanding them down and erasing their history, we’ll use passive restoration techniques to maintain their unique character while strengthening and preserving them for decades to come.
