Spend a beautiful Saturday in May exploring the storied lands of Origin Park with River Heritage Conservancy Board member and local historian Jim Kenney. Jim will peel back the layers and tell you about millions of years of geology and hydrology, the history of Indigenous peoples on the land, and the landscape dominated by bison. Then it's on to everything from explorers, pioneers, emancipated enslaved people, caviar camps, floods, and duels. And, finally, how all these colorful stories are part of what's becoming Origin Park! Please dress for the weather with sturdy shoes.
