Help us raise funds to support two local non-profits helping to feed mountain kids. These organizations provide backpacks full of food for kids to take home over the weekends. They help children who do not have enough food to eat at home by providing them with easy-to-prepare weekend meals and snacks throughout the school year. It takes $300 to provide weekend backpacks of food for one child for one school year.

The 285 Backpack Project serves kids and families along the 285 corridor who are food challenged. They currently serve 54 kids across 6 schools. They are run entirely by volunteers!

Mountain Backpacks serves kids and families in the Evergreen area and foothills who are food challenged. They provide backpacks to an average of 65 kids in 11 schools each week. They are also entirely run by volunteers and have been in operation for 12 years.
