With your support, over 140 volunteers in America, Europe and Cameroon continue to work hard to ensure size-able and consistent impact of Patcha Foundation engagements in low income and resource challenged populations. As you know, these are unprecedented times. The coronavirus pandemic has changed healthcare delivery as we know it. However, cancer does not respect lock downs and other safety measures.

Due to the urgency of the pandemic the Patcha Foundation cancelled our programming and focused on the global fight.
This is what we accomplished together in 2020, with the funds raised in 2019:

317 women received gynecology consultation and 263 were screened for breast and cervical cancer; 26 women received wigs; and vitamins, fruits, water and other supplies were distributed to cancer patients in hospital
We stepped up financial and moral support of cancer patients and their families in the USA and in Cameroon as they navigate the new normal during this COVID-19 pandemic. 13 cancer patients benefitted from partial or full support of their treatment and care.
OUR COVID RESPONSE IMPACT IN ALL REGIONS OF CAMEROON - OVER 632500 PEOPLE IMPACTED
- over 3200 reusable face masks were handmade and distributed to health workers, cancer patients and the community;
- 23 towns in Cameroon benefited from 57 hand wash units and supplies positioned at locations where the communities congregate;
- we undertook an aggressive COVID-19 sensitization campaign that included Public Service Announcements, a consistent social media presence and workshops at clinics;
The CASEC Information Exchange conference went virtual with streamed sessions on a wide variety of topics of importance to the community, reaching over 35,000 globally on FB, Twitter, YouTube and other platforms;
We increased our support of front line healthcare delivery organizations bridging the gap on a variety of issues from working to reduce maternal and infant mortality to addressing COVID-19 in Indigenous American communities; to procure PPEs and support orphaned or internally displaced children.

We continue to acknowledge your contributions towards over 22400 people benefiting from free medical, surgical and other services provided during the yearly CASEC Medical Missions to Cameroon and we look forward to resuming this life-saving program in 2021.
