Recently, Ojai received another winter storm that brought heavy rainfall, high winds and even a snow squall. The wet ground and high winds caused us to loose five trees and a giant agave, as well as causing damage to our pepper tree. One of our oak trees fell directly onto our propane tank, resulting in a gas leak. Luckily, those who were on the premises were safe and our Ventura County fire department arrived within minutes. Due to the damage, we needed to close through the weekend, as it was unsafe for the public to be onsite. We refunded all registrations for events and visitations. We did everything we could to repair the damages in order to reopen for visitations again the following week.

As you may imagine, removing the trees, repairing the damage, and refilling our propane tank that had recently been fully filled is a costly endeavor. Should you feel moved to donate to help us cover these costs, your generous donation will help fund:

- Repairing the damages to the propane tank
- Refilling the propane tank
- Recovering losses from closing for two weeks
