Join us for a powerful Lunch & Learn to connect with the folks behind First Fruit Ministries—a Wilmington-based nonprofit with over 25 years of experience serving the homeless and survivors of human trafficking. The organization began as grassroots street outreach to unhoused individuals and trafficking victims, but quickly grew into a multi-faceted ministry offering supportive housing, a food pantry, medical care, a day shelter, and transitional programs for trafficking survivors, all while continuing the original street outreach program. Meet Jenni Gallo and Neil Lewis, members of First Fruit Ministries' leadership team, as they share about First Fruit's mission of providing transformative care to relieve hunger, homelessness, and human trafficking. Hear firsthand from a survivor about her experience and how First Fruit Ministries has helped her find safety and healing. Learn how interconnected the trafficking system is throughout NC, and how First Fruit Ministries provides comprehensive care to the Triangle's trafficking survivors. Ultimately, discover how First Fruit Ministries transforms lives by creating pathways from survival to stability—and how you can join the mission.
