Thank you for registering for Luella’s Lodge Grieving Moms' Retreat, April 9-12, 2026. We're heartbroken that your child is no longer physically here and that you're in a position where you need to attend a retreat with us, but we are extremely honored to host you at this retreat and to be included in your journey.

We’ll be reaching out with an agenda and additional information, as well as a reminder to pay your remaining balance, about one month prior to your retreat. Below you will find some information including “what to bring” to the retreat.

The address to Luella’s Lodge is 7397 E 1500 North Rd. Oakwood, IL 61858.
Please plan to arrive between 2:00- 2:30 pm CST on Thursday, April 9th. Checkout will be noon on Sunday, April 12th.
Bring a picture or item to symbolize your child to display in the shared altar during the retreat.
Bring comfortable clothes and walking shoes if you plan to utilize our outdoor walking paths.
Bring a bathing suit if you plan to utilize our outdoor hot tub and/or shower.
All meals will be provided as well as snacks and drinks. If you’d like to bring some of your favorites items, you are welcome to do that as well.
Along with thoughtfully structured activities, there will be free time available throughout the retreat. We have arts and crafts, books, games and outdoor activities you can utilize during free time, but if there is anything you’d like to bring with you to do, please feel free.
