The Mona Pants Foundation has been raising thousands of dollars every year to assisted underfunded animal rescue groups as well as fund two very important programs: supplying pet oxygen masks to first responders and purchasing K9 Officers bullet proof vests. It has been our goal for years to have a Senior Dog Sanctuary. Way too many seniors end up at the shelter who just needed a soft place to land or a beautiful place to live with whatever time they have left. We have officially begun our fundraising journey. Why is this mission so important?

Senior dogs, especially those with medical problems or disabilities, face a much greater chance of euthanasia at shelters than younger dogs. It is often difficult to find families for them due to their shorter life expectancy and potential veterinary costs. Most senior dogs are able to live happily with a good quality of life if given the chance.

Senior Dogs make wonderful companions because they are mature, calm, and loving. Momma loved “getting to know” Rosie, the most recent senior dog the Pants Family adopted. She came with her own personality! In the months spent at the Pants House, Rosie opened up while recovering from losing the home she had for years. She spent the last few months of her life comfortable and surrounded by love.

100% of your donation will go into our Sanctuary Fund, to be used to secure a property and begin saving seniors.

Fundraising Goal:

We need about $500,000 for a Sanctuary property. The money we raise will go towards securing a property and up-fitting as needed to function as a sanctuary.
