I am an educator, teaching grade four most of my career while concentrating on the subject of Social Studies. I believe in project -based learning which involves working in many mediums with the students. I have been to Monhegan twice before, and I was intrigued with the fairy houses on the north side of the island. The island is very special to me, and I am very much looking forward to this new venture. I am looking forward to meeting artists, exploring their work, and enjoying a weekend with others on that beautiful island.

What inspires my creativity? Children, and the need to connect them to their learning, has always been my greatest inspiration.
