My name is Charlotte Partin, I am a current student at Maine College of Art and Design. I grew up on Mount Desert Island, which instilled an appreciation of nature and its intersections with the human experience. I dabble in many mediums but have a passion for metalworking and painting. I've never been to Monhegan but I've heard of its beauty and look forward to experiencing it firsthand. Getting to take inspiration from the island is an honor alone, aiding a good cause at the same time is the cherry on top.
I'm excited to meet other artists and to traverse the hiking trails along the island. The cliffs and beaches in particular seem like they would be magnificent to view in person.

What inspires my creativity? I'm inspired a lot by the people around me. The intricacies and kindness of my loved ones inspire me to express the unique human experience through my art. Additionally, the peers I meet in school constantly astonish me and motivate me to experiment and break boundaries in my art.
