I am an exhibiting photographer and a Distinguished Professor Emerita at the University of Southern Maine Art Department. I established two college-level photography majors and retired after a 40-year teaching career. I began making photographs as a very young person and even have a few photographs I made at age 6 1/2. My own interest in art also started at a very young age—first with drawing, and then in college with both printmaking and photography. I am most excited to spend a few days on Monhegan, an important and art-inspiring place. What inspires my creativity? Too many things to list…
