Basketball has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I have learned many leasons on the value of teamwork and the importance of sticking together. This Spring I am excited to start a Monstar Basketball team, that stands for more than just basketball. There is no local team in the area outside of school and the closes teams are an hour away and can cost thousands. It is my goal to create a team where people from all backgrounds can team up and play basketball together. This has been something my teamates and I have been trying to do for a while now, but this year we have a passionate group of people that are excited to compete, and make a difference in the community. Right now we are raising funds to get Jersey uniforms which are designed by Monstar and supplied at cost, and pay to enter the Tournaments that are around $350. Any support would be greatly appreciated by everyone!
